He was born in the spring of '06 and survived the winter. Just as frisky as he can be. His name is Rope Tail.

I know! He doesn't seem to have a problem balancing on poles and getting into my bird feeders. Still trying to get a closer picture of him though.

We have white tailed squirrles here.
Last November I nailed an old mailbox in a sugar maple that he likes to climb. I'm hoping he was smart enough to build a nest in it to stay warm. He may not be "pretty" enough to attract a mate, but, he's been able to survive over a year.
How cute! What a fluffy tail too! I've seen albino squirrels when I was a child visiting my great grandmother in Cinci. Ohio. Never a two-toned one though. Thanks for sharing that picture. Now I can say I have seen one.
