My eyes tell me that Philodendron 'Florida' and Philodendron Laciniatum look exactly alike. I'm sure, however, that there are differences. Can you post comparison photos? I want to bid on Laciniatum on eBay, but it looks so much like my 'Florida'.

Thanks!

GROWHAPPY,
There must be other differences specially in the nodes but the one that I can see,
is that in both Laciniatum and Fla Beauty the petioles are sandy (rough ) in texture but the
Laciniatum's new ones are red and in the Fla, they are green.
They are other three similar in leaf shape like the Quercifolium ,the Squamiferum and the
Bipennifolium , and in all cases the petioles make the difference
Go for it, is nice, strong and grows fast.

thanks Armando. I went back to look at the seller's other items and saw a variegated 'Florida'(which I have) up for bid. When I read the description, I found that one of the parents of 'Florida' is Laciniatum, and the other is Squamiferum. I knew that Squamiferum was one of the parents, but never who the other one was. So, it's no wonder the differences are so subtle b/t 'Florida' and Laciniatum!!! LOL

GROWHAPPY,
My FLA variegata lost its variegation, don't know why.
I wonder if you have one to trade with me. Have several interesting philos
for trade.
Armando.
