Hello from S. Calif. High Desert

I'm a homemaker and gardening is my passion. We live in the high desert, so it can be very challenging battling winds, cold, lots of HEAT and drought. I have fruit trees, veggies, and perennials. Right now my plums are ready and all the veggies are beginning to flower. I try to garden organically, and compost my green waste. I have to add compost every year tomy beds.
I'm looking forward to reading all the posts!
