happy B Day from iowa!! :-)

Being the 'way too technical' type I will say Happy Anniversary of your Birthday! We all only get one birthday.

happy belated b-day teresa. i hope that it was plumeriarrific!

dale - shouldn't that be "happy anniversary of your birth date", considering that the day changes from year to year but the date stays the same? LOL

Tampa, FL(Zone 10a)

Tucson,

Being way too technical, I would say that your birthday happend once and the event remains unchanged, the only thing that changes is you, the calendar, our weather, where the Earth is spinning in the cosmos, etc, etc. Your birth day would be the same even if we didn't have calendars, it is the anniversary that moves around the calendar week. You get one anniversary per calendar year, sometimes Wed, sometimes Thrus. etc. Birth day is an event, birth date an arbitrary number. Way too technical. Potato or .....

lol

Thanks for the bouquet! I missed this thread. Thank you for the well-wishing of my anniversary of ... my potato???

We may be born only once, but the day of your birth, the birthday, happens every year. Jeez, you guys like to argue about everything!

Happy Birthday, Teresa!

clare - you didn't have to respond to add to the "argument" that is not taking place! LOL Happy Birthday, Teresa! would have been enough.

i was just joking in case you didn't see the uppercase "laughing out loud" at the end of my rhetorical question.

Relax, Dete, I was joking too about the arguing part. Sensitive, are we? (j/k)

Tampa, FL(Zone 10a)

I prefer the term 'discussing the subject in endless detail'.
