This is a new one for me. I could not find the name tag this morning but I thought it was a pretty little bloom.

I am good. Thanks for asking. By the time I got home this was closed. Kinda strange.

San Diego, CA

Marie, all of these Foetida's will close by early afternoon, they open very early and close and/or wilt up shortly after it gets hot.

Thank for the info mark. Any clue which one I have? I looked around and could not find the tag for this one. It is much different from the one I lost last year.

Love the flower Marie.

It is pink. Neither of those names sound familiar though. I have class tonight so tomorrow I am going to get down on hands and knees and dig around and see if I can the tag.

Ok I was screaming and jumping up and down last night (Uh not a very pretty site but I was so excited) I have 3 fruits starting on this huge vine!!

San Diego, CA

Marie, love in the mist is Passiflora Foetida. I'm not sure which type of Foetida it is, but it does appear to be that.

Thanks Mark. All I know is I love this one. It has been in constant bloom for months now!!
Through our awful heat too. I have had to cut parts of it down because it was strangling other plants and it is still growing like crazy. Now that I have a couple of fruits I think there is hope to have this one around next year.
