Jamie's Monkey Business

(Mary) Poway, CA(Zone 10a)

This is the first day open. I bought her on a whim after I saw some Orange 'Million Bells' that I thought would go great with her. Sometimes I do things backwards. LOL A small flower with a big fragrance, I think she's a cutey.

Another nice picture. I'm starting to get a bit jealous here. Flowers are zip today. Maybe within the week I'll have some singles.

Oh I think I have this one to Mary. I will have to go out and look at tags. It is so cute and would go so well with orange Calibrachoa. I love those so much. The give me so much color all summer long.

Well brugie when you do I know they will be great, they always are, and since you have to wait awhile they will be even better, can't wait to see pictures.

Mary, have you had this long enough to see how dark it gets. I fell in love with it when I saw these photos:

I agree that it will get darker. The first time my JMB bloomed I was surprised that it wasnt darker, but in the fall the blooms darkend to a beautiful rich color.

Another from the same line is called Ludgers Windsong and if you love yellow and long tendrils you would love this one. Photo is of Ludgers Windsong.

Oh Delisa, have to love that brug and also the name, Ludgers Windsong. So pretty!

Is there any suav in these?

Those are my first blooms, and the first day of the bloom. I like it this lighter color. We usually don't get really dark here in dry Southern California.

Most of my mature plants have buds so I'll be seeing some displays in the next couple weeks, and then it'll be a long hot summer with few blooms. Spring and fall are the best times here.

I like the yellow one Delisa. I think yellow is the most cheerful color, and those are nice tendrils indeed. I have a personal passion for the pinks, but yellows always make me smile.

I've gotta get a new keyboard. Hard to type with all the drool all over it.

Tulsa, OK(Zone 7a)

they are all beautiful.

Delisa thats pretty yellow..yellow is like the sun..

yes drool is so messy..

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

I have JMB too, but I imagine it's already too hot for blooms.. It just Y'd and like most of the others, the micro buds just dry up and fall off. It sure is a good grower though! I'm a sucker for fragrance, real small or huge blooms and tendrils.. I can't wait!
The only blooms I've had are VPink, Jamie, DrSuess, Butterfly and Candida Dbl White is gonna open in a day or two, she's loaded with Buds.. in this heat? I'm jazzed about that!
