Is VC invasive in our area? I have one in a pot and wonder how to treat it.
I mis-typed. I meant Trumpet Creeper.

VirginiaCreeper invasive?
Both vines are considered invasive back-east. I haven't seen either show any signs of invasiveness. The Trumpet Vine (Capsis) can be robust with age but I haven't seen them pop up or run-a-muck.
The neighbors Virginia Creeper is trying to take over my yard! It's crawled under the fence and comes up after setting roots that are VERY difficult to pull/dig out.
I had Virginia Creeper in a large container when I lived in Seattle - it took over that container and traveled into the gardens. I had a Trumpet Vine (is that the same thing) that climbed the house there and did some damage to it which we didn't discover until we got ready to sell the house. And it never bloomed to make it even worse!!!
