I took this picture at Pappy Elkins park, mine doesn't bloom because we cut it back every year to keep it in bounds.

So if I let this one bloom it will have those great seed pods? (We are a few years from blooming... it might be 18 in now...)

Wonderful... I saw those pods on a tree in a field in Duncanville and I kept trying to go by to see if I could see anyone to find out what type of tree it was and if I could gather seeds.
