MEM Such a trooper!!

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

It has been in the 90's for I don't know how long now, with absolutely no rain, and MEM is severly rootbound (I'm potting up, yet again today). Yet, after all of these horrible conditions, she's still holding onto that bud! I'm so impressed with this, and cannot wait to see it bloom!

This is MEM early this morning. Probably won't see too many more until fall since she didn't like our dry heat last year.

Nice amount of blooms, Mary. Sure beats my one Mtn. Magic and a half dozen on another brug. They are gearing up to bloom before long tho. Is MEM the one that is supposed to be so red or am I thinking of another one? Gary sent me this one and another pink, Painted Lady, maybe? One has Y'd, but the other one hasn't yet.

That is nice, Mary. Maybe if we can get some of our humidity back (not that I want it), MEM will do more before the fall out here. The only ones I have buds on so far are MEM, Isabella and Whiskers. Hopefully the others will follow suit soon.

Brugie, MEM is the one that has the HUGE bloom, but is not supposed to be close to red. Painted Lady is a much darker pink than MEM, maybe that's it, like you say.

Thanks. I'll know what to look for now. :)

Here's a picture of the bud one week later. It's nothing but huge!! Luckily, it survived being potted up, too!
