Our goose lost a wing to a varmint. It is on antibiotics and silver sulfidine is applied to the open wound. We have a "cape" over its back so it can't bite the area.
The baby eats and drinks well, is confined in the house in a crate, and enjoys a heating pad and a stuffed duck for company.
It was lifting to stand for first few days. The question is why the goose has stopped using its legs?
