hi joseph
no it was grown indoors on a warm sunny windowsill, i took it outside to take the pic in a decent light, it was one of several cuttings from my fathers parrot plant, but this one seems to be the one that took off, it just keeps getting bigger and bigger! i will put a cutting in the garden to see how it goes outside as our weather isn't great here in the uk !
