Lavina ~ I noticed your post just yesterday, and that no one had replied. I don't think it was intentional to reject you.... sad no one replied. I think, but I'm not sure because I'm fairly new at brugs and haven't tried cuttings, but I think it's the wrong time of year? Perhaps someone else could chime in on that thought. It's something I would like to know anyway.

Lavina... why can't you come here Lavina... Travel restrictions to here have been lifted lately... what we have going on here isn't necessarly contageous as first thought ... society will survive even with exposure...

My brugs are just out of dormancy for a few weeks now, not a time when we in the morth country can share. I august I will have plenty. Sorry no one responded, but most don't take cuttings during the begining of the growing season.

I just saw this post. I'm in the middle of packing for a move on Saturday back to Sunset Beach. I've also posted things at times and not gotten a response.
I guess your feelings got hurt a little, huh? I'm sure no one meant any offense, but why did you get grumpy about it? I think more responses would come if you hadn't made the second post.
Now that I've fussed at you (lol) I will tell you that I'll get some cuttings to you. I think this time of the year most people don't take cuttings since they don't want to curtail the blooms. But you've lucked out with me since I'm moving and I will be taking cuttings so I'll get some for you. I can also send you one or two potted ones. Can you reimburse me for postage? I'm on a pretty tight budget and it would be appreciated if you could reimburse for postage. If I just send cuttings, it will be cheaper, but if you want potted, it probably will run $10 or so since it gets heavier.
Let me know as soon as possible.

Barb, I had PMS, sure I can pay you the postage-hope you have a bigger yard when you move so you can plant more. Cutting would probably be better.

i have some seeds if want to try them. i think its wrong time to take cuttings.. but lots do share..
I lost all my brugs over the winter, therefor haven't been on the brug forum at all. I also had some severe endometriosis removed with laparoscopy, and in the run they found the early stage of cervical cancer that needs a LEEP. And on top of all that, my orchard really is trying to take over the world, so I am truly scrambling outside to keep up! It's been really hot here, and tending the garden seems to be a little bit more than I anticipated!
I have 6 or 7 new ones, but they are just cuttings themselves, so can't share for a while.

Been where you are now also 1985 and 1992 were very scary years. Had cancer 3 times.
Liver 1985,Hyster1992 colon 2001.
Got lots of parts removed and patched but still kicking so hang in there.
Attitude is 99% of the healing.
