Boy that is a different bloom. A double with color splashed outside petals?

Oh my goodness that's pretty. I just bought 11 new ones and have to go on a pot buying spree now. And I'm thinking to myself, "Self, where did he get that one and can I afford one more?" I have wayyyy too much spare time. lol

I'm not sure if this will be good news or bad news for you--I got it from Hidden Valley Hibiscus, but I just looked at their website and it's out of stock now. If you really do want it, I'm sure they'll have it back eventually! And some of the other hibiscus places may carry it too, I can't remember if I ran across it elsewhere or not.

Here's a link to HVH's pics of it

Mine has more of a coral/apricot sort of coloring on the outer petals, I'm not sure if that color is for real, or if it's because the bloom took a really long time to open and is a little deformed so those outer petals were exposed to the sun for a few days before the bloom really opened, maybe that changed the color from what it should have been. I like it though! I'm not sure if it'll give me more blooms this year or not, it was a small plant in a 4" pot so there just aren't that many places for buds to form but if it blooms again I'll post more pics.

Glad I could be an enabler for so many of you! Hopefully HVH will get them back in stock soon and then you can all have one too.

Kell--I'm with you on the pink color! I got it because my 'Kona' accidentally forgot to put itself in the greenhouse last winter and it died in the freeze, so I was looking for another double pink to replace it and this one looked even prettier than Kona so I had to have it! The first bloom definitely isn't as pink as the pictures, but I think once the plant gets bigger and puts out some better blooms it'll probably be pinker.

LOL Alice. I think we NEED this one! Liz be sure to post pictures as it grows!
