This is Alocasia Wentii Variegated that I bought from Brian last year. The variegation is beautiful and the leaves are shiny. A must have.

I have never seen the variegated form of this!
Does anyone here know how this "species" got its name? I know it's now known all over the world as A. wentii, but the real A. wentii is an obscure and rather insignificant high montane New Guinea species looking nothing like the hortiocultiral wentii (which I feel sure is a hybrid).
I had never seen the variegated version either until I was looking at Brian Williams sight. Any aroid that is variagated needs to be at my house!!
