Rosalind has finally given me a bloom to drool over. What a pretty flower she is. I've enjoyed watching you all post your pictures and have become more excited each time I see a new picture and to finally have blooms of my own makes it even better. Thanks for nudging me along with my newest addiction....hibiscus.

Liz, I had planned on making a cross with this one, but got carried away with other things and I'm sure it is way too late. The pollen is probably in the next county now anyway.
What is the best time to pollinate and how late in the day will pollinations still take?

Well, let's just change the name! I am fine; good see your name again! I've been so busy that I haven't posted much.I think Katrina is going to tie up everybody here for some time yet, but things are beginning to look good again.
Brugie that sure is a lovely color, my hibiscus is not doing so well our weather has been so crazy my water bill has trippled from watering so much, we have had no rain in over a month and it has been very hot

Thanks Doris. I don't even want to talk about water bills. I know my next one will be scary. We are dry and the grass is turning brown. Why won't the weeds die too? LOL!
