I do love this one...

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Rosalind has finally given me a bloom to drool over. What a pretty flower she is. I've enjoyed watching you all post your pictures and have become more excited each time I see a new picture and to finally have blooms of my own makes it even better. Thanks for nudging me along with my newest addiction....hibiscus.

I am a fan of this Hibiscus too. Lots of pretty blooms and nice, fat seed pods.

Beautiful bloom!! And, glad to help enable :-)

Liz, I had planned on making a cross with this one, but got carried away with other things and I'm sure it is way too late. The pollen is probably in the next county now anyway.

What is the best time to pollinate and how late in the day will pollinations still take?

Thanks Karen. I've enjoyed watching your plants bloom for a while now. Your weather must be perfect for hibiscus.

South Florida, FL(Zone 10a)

That is a very pretty hibiscus.

Hi Roz....Thank you and..........how are you? It's been a long time. It's too bad that the name isn't spelled Rozalind. LOL!

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Well, let's just change the name! I am fine; good see your name again! I've been so busy that I haven't posted much.I think Katrina is going to tie up everybody here for some time yet, but things are beginning to look good again.

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

Brugie that sure is a lovely color, my hibiscus is not doing so well our weather has been so crazy my water bill has trippled from watering so much, we have had no rain in over a month and it has been very hot

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Roz, I hope you all don't ever have to go through another Katrina. What a nightmare.

Thanks Doris. I don't even want to talk about water bills. I know my next one will be scary. We are dry and the grass is turning brown. Why won't the weeds die too? LOL!

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

well Brugie this is how our grass looks

Doris, I hope you get rain soon. I don't think we are quite that bad, but it won't be long with these high winds and hot temps. Take care.

The thing I love most about Rosalind, is that every new
flower is always a surprise as to what form it will take.
Heres a few of her different looks...

Dave, gorgeous pictures. I can't wait for my plant to be big enough to have more than one bloom at a time open on it. I love all of her looks. Thanks for posting pictures of what I have to look forward to.
