OH HAPPY DAY

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

As you all may have read I lost just about all my Brugs due to a company that put the wrong mixture in the spray for flowers and plants, instead they filled them with a strong weed, grass, killer, but how happy I am today, this is one Brug of five, out of 72 I managed to save, and today she is rewarding me with a BUD
I had to repot her, wash off the roots and get rid of all the dirt my brugs were in, the other's I saved look stunted, no branching out and small leaves but I am going to still try to save them, this one makes it all worth it.
I have recieved a couple of cuttings from great DG members, and some seeds to start over, also purchased a couple from Seed Sprout. I am hanging in there.

Doris,

She's looking good! What a hearbreaker that you lost so many, but sounds like you've got a good start on a new collection :-)

She is a nice plant. I am sorry you lost so many. That was just awful that they put the wrong chemicals in the mix. You are so lucky that the brugs. are the only thing injured by their mistake.

Congratulations Doris! I, too, am sorry to know of your loss.

Thank you everyone, I was surprised at the bud because the leaves gave NO indication that it was going to have one, and I always look for that, today I am going to pollinate it with pollen I saved from Golden Lady last year, and Butterfly, mybe I will be lucky and get a pod.

You and your plant are such survivors! My heart is with you.
