This is a great flea market on Hwy 69 between Interstate 20 and Loop 323, close to Tyler Pipe. There are a number of plant vendors selling beautiful plants at good prices. Last year we got three large mandevillas for $25.00. There's also a guy there that sells these wonderful tilting pot trees and other plant holders. They have vendors selling wrought iron plant stands and other garden art, birdhouses, birdfeeders, and yard furniture. My daughter and I go just about every month. It's the third week-end of the month and if you go to their site, Tyler Market Center, you can print out a free parking pass.

That's sad....almost as sad as Lake Texoma Lodge and resort being sold and the park just going to the dogs...it's terrible...now it looks like their plans for a big high dollar resort like Tanglewood on the other side of the lake are more or less in the dumps too...

I just had to comment on this one, because I used to have a booth at that market. I mentioned to a lady in the Dr.s office recently that I would like to go, it was SO nice, like a mini-Canton, and very clean with brand new pavillions. She told me of it's demise, and I was so sad. I recently passed the area and it is totally barren. Those nice buildings standing there in the weeds. She said the owner went bankrupt spending his money on no-no's. Anyway, what a pity to see buildings, things go to rot like that. I hope someone will buy the property and reopen the flea market.
Eyes, I used to work for the company that was developing Tanglewood, although many years ago. I think the company went bankrupt or sold.
