DVDR710 How to delete one item

I have a DVDR710 internal DVD/CD writer. It does everything I want except I haven't been able to delete just one file, I can erase the whole disk. Nero Start Smart essentials came with it. I would just like to find out how to delete/erase one file from a disk but not all files.
