It took me almost a year after moving to me new place to get the hoyas a home and the back yard the look somewhat tropical.....for those that know me, I like the lush jungle look.
New backyard and hoya shade house.
Very nice! If I were a hoya I would be very happy to live there. I can't wait to buy a home, right now I am in limbo, getting a degree and renting - the first thing I will do when the money starts rolling in is buy a home, and the next thing I will do is have a greenhouse added on, one of those victorian style A frame looking things with the stone base. I want it attached to my house, and I want some sort of outside lath house (?) like the one you have for summering the plants outdoors. This forum is great for getting ideas, thanks to all of you that share your homes here via photographs!
Ric..your garden looks so inviting!!!! Thanks for sharing!!
Beautiful gardens Ric. Is that an Arbicola (Schflera) to the right and under your Plumeria? If it is, keep your eyes on it. It grows very fast. I have one growing outside my screen enclosure that has dwarfed the Plumeria. We have to keep pruning it. It wants to be a tree.
Ric, it looks like you are working your magic again! I love your lathe house and am glad to see you were able to move Hoyas with you. Don't hesitate to let me know if you need tropicals/ Hoyas. You have always been generous with me and I am all about playing it forward!
Way to grow, my friend!
Mel
Ric, all looks good but how can you have lush jungle looks without a brugmansia or three?
