What could be wrong

Canterbury, CT(Zone 6a)

I have a AV that my father in law gave me 2 years ago, it has beautiful leaves and seems healthy but won't bloom. It's next to my other AV's and they are blooming like crazy. When I received this plant it had no blooms so I have no idea what color it is.
Any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks all :-)

find you a balanced fertilizer with at least 30 second number like: 10-30-10 Nitrogen Phosphorus and Potassium
Then make sure you are giving it plenty of light.....
Remember there are some pros on here......I am not!!! (LOL)

Hiya Mimi,
Welcome to the forum!!!
gail gave you good advice...actually about the best there is.

Got a pic of your lil darling??? Sometimes a pic helps to tell the whole story...

On another note...some violets are just shy bloomers~not many ~ but there are a few...lol I seem to have a couple that are veryyyyy shy.
I've never gotten Angel trail to bloom I don't care what I give it... I finally gave it the boot.;)

I think this plant may have known I was waiting for some great advise and guess what there are 3 blooms coming up.
Yipee...
Thanks so much for the advise and will get the fertilizer this week, it can only help and will also give it to my others even though they are blooming like crazy.
