It looks very familiar.... possibly Euphorbia lathyris (aka 'mole plant', 'myrtle spurge'). Does it ooze white sticky sap (latex) when crushed?

If it is an Euphorbia, the latex is poisonous.

Hi Shirley, I do not see how this could be anything else but euphorbia lathyris!! Thank you so much!
I have all kinds of wonderful plants and a nice collection of hosta and I would love to send you something to thank you for your excellent help. Is there anything "missing" from your garden? Especially with your very prompt reply, you really made me look good to the person who owns the plant.
