A bevy of beauties!

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 8b)

My yard has been just Bloomtiful this week, with a couple of little guys showing off their first blooms.

#1 is Tangerine Dream

Here's a new color this week on Allure (I'm totally into this plant with its many different looks).

Electric Blue definitely doesn't to be outdone by Allure and is showing more of her "blue" this time around.

Cajun Blue is seen here hanging out with a Hausten White Plumeria flower - I thought they looked pretty together :-)

Here's Cajun Blue by herself ready for her close-up.

The Color Purple is just full of buds that I've been waiting to see. The bloom is a little closed as it was cooler and windy yesterday. The purple on this cultivar is very unusual and is prettier in person. It's what I think of as an old-fashioned purple - for some reason the color reminds of my grandmother.

Black Dragon is a bloom machine and always a show-stopper!

The beautiful Rosalind has so many blooms you can barely see the leaves!

Climax looks just like a scoop of sunshine..

Pride of Acadiana showed me her first bloom.

Palm Springs' bloom was more beautiful before Sadie (rambunctious dog) bumped into it, leading to a little droop.

And last, but certainly not least, is the lovely Magnifique - with a name like, what else is there to say, lol ;-)

Wow, lots of great blooms!
You have a very nice collection.
Thanks for showing them.

I know you're just thrilled with every blossom. I'm always amazed by the power these flowers have for soothing the soul and delighting the heart.

Geesh ... it's hard to pick a favorite. From the photos, I think the electric blue is interesting but you gotta love that Orange and yellow on Climax. But then the Black Dragon... I just can't pick a favorite. Too many beauties there. Thanks for sharing.

Guess I can use the color purple variety, NEXT??? LOL

Well, I just picked up little 4"-ers of Pina Colada, Big Easy, Creole Darlin, Gabriel, Fireworks, City Slicker and Delta Dawn, so now I have to go get more pots. See, I have to "sneak" these into my garden (which, in true So Cal style, is certainly not huge) and act like they've always been there, so I can (maybe??) stay out of trouble with the DH who thought I had way too many plants about 100 plants ago, LMAO!! I won't mention the two plumeria and three pricey daylilies I picked out to match my hibiscus...

I'm telling myself that I have to hurry and get them established before it gets super duper hot here. Y'all are bad bad influences ;-)
