My garden is small (14' x 40') and the big compost bin has a big footprint (about 4' I guess) and is about 4.5' tall. It's acting like a black hole in the garden and I was thinking about ways to make it "work" visually, rather than subtracting, as it does now. I saw an awesome compost bin that was built like a little cottage (tiny) in wood and although I covet that as it would be adorable, it's too expensive. So that means painting my black monster I guess...but I'm not handy with paint.
1) Any other ideas?
2) Anyone painted theirs?
