I didn't wait for your reply---I just sent you the seeds (along w/some others I thought you might like...). Our growing season is so short that I never experienced the flowers on my red shield but grew it due to the color of the foliage. I just ordered a fresh supply of seeds this spring so the seed I'm sending you is part of that. I believe that in your zone this may be a perennial---lucky you!
