Hi Donna!
Looks like a Variable Oakleaf Caterpillar so far.. There are 4 pics in this book bc they can be so variable in color and markings. The head is pretty much the same on all the pics though.

yep you nailed it Deb. Bottom left looks like it. Guess I shouldn't have been looking when I was to tired. I found the cat at 2 a.m. lol Caterpillars of Eastern North American is the greatest ID book isn't it??
