I am going to have for sale some small brugs at my plant club sale coming up soon. Several of the small brugs, about 18-24" high, have buds forming on them, probably because they were made from Y branches. I am thinking I should tell the buyers to remove the buds, because I can't imagine that buds on these tiny plants will be nice flowers, and more importantly, they will distract from the needed growth of the plants. Opinions? Thanks.

baby brug bud question
Susan I think either way would be okay. Some people do remove the new buds, but others let it grow so they can see a bloom early.
I've seen posts here where brugs have bloomed in water as cuttings! If they are strong enough to hold on, I'd leave em be. If you get blooms for your sale, there is no better advertising! You can also show them what buds look like and I'd think that would be a help too.
