Look at what we found on the Frostweed.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

It was just resting there and it was rather late afternoon. Does anyone know which moth it is?

Josephine - I've seen them here in Florida too. But don't know the name. Nice! Is it rather large? Or small?

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

It very large, probably 4 inch wing spread.

Palm Harbor, FL(Zone 9b)

I knew it, I knew it! I knew it was some sort of Spinx Moth. I just couldn't find the right one!!! I had raised one about a month ago and I could see the similarity in yours compared to mine!

Thanks, Kennedy for the ID! :-)

Thank You Kennedy, that is so wonderful, I will have to add it to the bug files.
Somehow we have many beautiful moths around here.
