Update on gardengram1

I just got an update from Diane's daughter tonight...June 4

Hi again ladies,
I wish I could give a better report but it has been a very tough day. The doctor removed her chest tubes this morning but within a couple of hours she went into respiratory distress. With the help of O2 and a large dose of lasix they pulled her through just to have it happen again this evening. More lasix and she is again resting comfortably and complaining about getting the breathing machine removed (a Bi-pap). All in all our prayer is that she will come over this hump in a day or two and then be past the worst of it. She is in ICU still and receiving the very best of care. I have told her all about everyone's loving thoughts and prayers and it puts a huge smile on her face! She says to tell you thank-you very much and she can't wait to get back on-line for herself.
Gail I thank-you very much for the thoughts about us and I know you truelly understand caring for your parents. Cheryl and I are doing all we can to be with her as much as possible and we are doing ok. We really do know who's hands she is in and that faith makes it all possible.
We continue to thank the Lord for special prayer warriors like you ladies!
