Definatly Black Swallowtail..... I love these! Raise these, and preserve them. Ya might say they are my first love of bf raising altogether. I sure hope it' yours now, I really do! Let me know if you need anything. :-Deb

Yesterday I saw a black swallowtail a couple times out my sliding glass door. Each time I tried to go outside, it would fly off. But from inside, I watched it lay eggs on the parlsley. I guess the eggs hatch fast because today I found this little one.

Snuzer, Its my guess she visited when you weren't looking several days ago. Eggs wouldn't hatch the following day.
