Have u seen this?

Chino, CA

2 years ago i gave my mom in PA a plumeria. and its still alive, i did have to amputate a branch last year because they got a lot of rain in june, but its still alive and coming out of dormancy. SOOO anyway.. she went somewhere and found this fertilizer 10-54-10. Ive never seen it that strong.. 10-30-10 yeah but not what she found. it only takes like a tspn per gallon for outdoor plants and 1/4tspn for indoor potted plants. just curious if anyone else has come across fert this strong in phosphurous? think by using it, it will induce a new flowering stalk? thats the one i had to cut off was the one with all the flowers.

I think I've seen 10-50-10 or something like that. The Bloomboosters -- MiracleGro, Schultz, Peters, etc. -- all have a high middle number. That used to be recommend for plumerias, but now the prevailing wisdom is that even numbers are best. I will still use it though now that she has it. I've used Bloomboosters on mine before.

I have been using something similar on my lowering plumerias. It is Green Light Superbloom, it is 12-55-6. It also is very concentrated and only takes a similar amount per gallon. So far I have had no problems with any of my plants that I use it on. I fed some to my Desert Museum Palo Verdes and they bloomed hard for a month straight. My neighbor has the same tree and asked why mine had so many flowers. So far I can't tell the difference in my Plumerias from last year to this year. They have taken much longer to come out of their dormancy and not many are flowering yet.
