Third batch!!

This pair of blues must be taking steroids! Second batch just left last week, and they just built another gorgeous nest this morning. I sat outside and just watched her bring clean sheets to the box. She's been busy!

What a great picture Halo! Have there been any new pics since then? I haven't had any nesting bluebirds this year - wahhh!!!

I think she may have just started laying....saw her poking her little head out of the house today. Ill check tomorrow and see.

Oh boy oh boy!! You are so lucky! I have two house wrens nesting - not nearly as exciting as blues but I keep pestering them for pictures anyway lol.

Susan, I saw some wrens this spring, but Ive never seen them nesting here. Ive heard they will nest in anything; they must not like the neighborhood.

Poor Mrs. B is sitting on her eggs; its so hot now, she hangs her little out of the hole and pants like a dog. I think she could leave the nest and those babies would hatch without her help, its so hot now.
