Wanted bamboo yellow grove

Lyles, TN

I have rooted plants of thornless blackberry to trade for starts of a bamboo called --yellow grove--thanks..

Lyles, TN

Since determined scientific name of the bamboo I'm seeking is: Phyllostachys aurea, or golden bamboo

Wilton, CT(Zone 7a)

Phyllostachys aurea Six years ago i planted a clump, 6-8 culms each 1/2-3/4" diameter in a heavy green plastic barrel. They thrived here in my backyard in Wilton, CT. Zone 6.5-7A.For various reasons I was not able to watch over them as closely as I should have, and this spring I found I found myself with 2000square feet of mature 18-20 ft culms, spreading like crazy. The runners penetrated almoost every barrier they came up against. I have spent most of the summer cutting down culms and trying to reclaim some land for my lawn, vegetables, perennials, buddleia, and other small shrubs. I'm putting in a small (16 X 16) raised vegetable bed.
Anybody looking for a good physical and sound barrier which is also beautiful and very hardy here in zone 6.5 good do very well by planting golden grove bamboo. But watch after them. I am presently culling about 5-6 small (18") clumps of young phyllostachys, and from the looks of it I will be doing this for the forseeable future.

markleysburg, PA(Zone 5a)

Would you be willing to share some for postage??
