(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Hi y'all!

I am looking for some Coral Bean (Erythrina herbacea) for trade or SASBE. Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks for considering! ~Becky~

I may be able to help you out later in the season. We have a very large plant that is just full of blooms. I also have some friends who have a lake lot and they have Coral Bean growing wild. I am from the Hill country of S. Texas and I remember an Uncle explaining how they germinate better is they pass through a goat. I think you will need to etch the seeds and maybe even soak in aced( not sure which kind).

Thanks Ken! Please d-mail me should you come across any seeds in your garden or in the wild! :-) That's funny about the goat! I will try nicking the seeds to get them to germinate if they are that hard! Thanks! ~Becky~

Becky, I've got some Coral Bean seeds I collected after last blooming (I believe they were collected in Sept.). Let me know if you'd like some - I'd like to trade with you if you are interested. Thanks
