Syngonium macrophyllum?

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

This is for a friend. We believe this is S. macrophyllum, but aren't 100% sure. I've never seen hers in person, just these pics, but compared to mine it's pretty darn close. The only reason I'm a little unsure is that mine has sub-equal leaves, while her's leaves are darn near perfectly symmetrical.

It certainly looks like the S. macrophyllum I have. There is also another one very similar to it, S. chiapense. The best way for me to distinguish between the two of them is by the veination.

The 'chiapense' has darker veins on the back of the leaf. One who knows a great deal about aroids is MichaelSC. Perhaps he will reply to this posting and be able to verify the identity of your friend's plant.
