New (to gardening and to DG) from Texas

Hi all, just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm obviously new to the site, and I'm very new at gardening, so I hope I don't drive everyone crazy with stupid questions. Anyway, I'm from Texas (a little town about 2 hours southwest of Dallas). Happy to be here!

welcome to both of your from upstate new york. ujsually you would get a dozen replies withn a few hours of your first post here but this is the growing season and most of us are tryhing to get our gardens in.

chantilly - there ae no stubpid questions so ask away. if its something about vegetables go to the vegetble gardening forum or we have specific forums such as the tomato forum and the pepper forum etc. yu will just love it here.

grandmaggie - hello to you also. yes, DG is a wonderful place. we have a new thread on the general information forum called best and worst. its quite funny and i know you will both enjoy it.
