to say hello to all Hoya friends

Knoxville, TN

Hi All,
Sorry to have been MIA for so long. I have been spending every spare minute working to get the pool and garden ready for the season. Unfortunately, each time Paul and I complete a project, a new problems develops. Alas, I finally have time to smell the Hoyas!
I have missed you guys! Cheers to all!!!

WOW, Mel... that first pic floored me. How gorgeous that is! You have an incredible "green thumb".

watch out, Mel!! I will be returning to Raleigh from Cooksville via I-40 in the next day or two. I may just have to take a stop by....with a pair of scissors!

Knoxville, TN

Thanks Barb. You are a sweetheart!

Hey gaiadisciple, I am no more than 5 minutes from I-40! Seriously, stop by if you want! D-mail me if you want to come with your scissors. I'll gladly share!

Have you ever stopped at Phillips Shoe Store in Monteray? If you like cheep name brand shoes and bags and a town that could be Mayberry, NC, you can't go to Cookville without a visit to Phillips.

Is the 2nd pic vitellinoides? I am trying to grow that one myself but have had some problems, it is doing ok though.

Knoxville, TN

Sure is, BH. I re-rooted that plant several times before it conformed to my growing habits. Just about every time I start having problems with my plants, the root system is rotting.

Hi Mel; and the rest of you folks. I've also been missing in action (extremely busy). Gorgeous plant Mel, however all interested in buying this particular plant will have better luck getting the identical plant if they ask for H. meredithii Green.

Waving back at ya!
Susan, I think we will have to get a petition to put broadband in Bucksnort before we will see Lesli around. She had a freeze in her greenhouse last winter, which we all know is devistating.
Ric my man! Great to see you! Anytime you want to trade, I am up for it. I am sure it must have been hard to leave your beautiful garden behind. I'll look forward to pictures of your new creation. If you need replacements for your Hoya collection, just say the word and I will gladly help!
Great to see you Karyn and Patti.
Great point, Annie. Great to see you!!
