Beautiful poppy! Where did you get the seeds?

This one I bought as a plant from "Annie's perennials".
I am letting the seedheads sit on the plant so they can dry. I will have plenty of seeds; there are at least 6 seedpods ripening.

Well, Christie, if you have any extra seeds for trade, I would definitely be interested LOL. The poppies I grew last year were mostly peony-shaped. They bloomed about the time we got the summer rain so they ended up a big blob of petals that fell off on the ground. This year, I'm using singles. Of course, it's also a lot drier this year here (a sign of things to come, I fear). I'm hoping to find a poppy that I like & that I want to let seed around the yard. And your's is a beauty :~) I have some things on my trade list but I'm sure I'll have more later in the season as I did buy quite a few plants this year. I'll have to see what I can collect seed from. I've admired plant's on Annie's web site (if we're talking about the same place) and have been very tempted to order. It's too late to safely do so this year but I'm getting a wish list together for next year. I'd love to see that place in person!

Denise, I'll send you some seedpods. There is only one Annie's so I'm sure it is her.
I also had seedpacks from 'Renee's seeds', and now I have about 14 different poppies growing wild.
