Does leaf colour suggest flower colour?

As I watch my two seedlings grow, I notice different leaf colour. Are they like some other plant types where reddish leaves mean a dark flower and lightish leaves mean a lighter colour flower?

Yes, they say that darker colored leaves will yield red, pink, or rainbow blooms while bright green leaves will yield white or yellow blooms. This cannot be relied upon as I've had white blooms with dark-colored leaves, and I've also had pink blooms with bright green leaves.
