Molten Lava- for amarantha

New Orleans, LA(Zone 8b)

We went back and forth about Molten Lava a while ago-well, I finally got a bloom! It took half a year, but the little guy's finally growing up.

Whatcha think? :)

I love it. Hey Tess if Barry S has a sale this year are you going? Not sure if you know my DH Dennis passed away in Sept.

I lost 3 of the 4 hibiscus I got from him. :O( Only Alpine Lace lived and I have not seen a bloom yet. Soon I hope.

LMK I had so much fun last time. Maybe you could stay here??

Blessings,

That's a great name for that one Tess, it looks like it is on fire.

Sort of looks like Heartbreak Hotel's brother!.
Very beautiful...

Super cool bloom, totally worth waiting for! You know, my Molten Lava died in our crazy winter here, but I purchased a little one from Curt Sinclair's ebay store about a month ago because I just love the look of this bloom. No buds on mine yet, but the little plant is nice and strong. Here's hoping mine will look like yours this time :-)

Thanks for posting the pic!

Sandy, so very sorry to hear- you have D-mail.

The M.L. really dragged its feet for a long time, but now it seems to be taking off- mine came from Curt, too. Good luck!
