Hibiscus from CDN RU 2005

Those of you that were here, do you remember bringing hibiscus cuttings? Was it you Inanda? Here's a few pictures of them, I think they are absolutely gorgeous. I've also added a few photos of other things around here.

any one know what this is? I thought is was milk weed, it's tall and has numerous flowers

and lastly, an oriental poppy we got this spring

we have a nature snctuary quite near our new place, the redwing black birds are signing all the time. The 3 pairs of mallards have had their babies, so here's a pic of one of them, slightly out of focuw, and about 3-4 weeks old.

Ginny brought the hibiscus but they came from someone else. They are very nice.

Thanks Jeanne, I thought it was Ginny that brought them. We've sure been enjoying them, and the new garden as a whole. Looking forward to the Denman Island weekend, see you then.

Edited to say that the hibiscus came with me to the RU . They were sent by Wilma aka Pickles I think.
