Don't know what forum to find you on, but after reading Becky's post re: ((((((((((Lucky))))))))), I noticed your "Mimmie"...please accept my heartfelt condolences.
Please let me share my Little MIss Scooter Pie (napping with my DH), with you...you'll be amazed!
Did Mimmie have a tail?
Scooter is our liddle tail-less wonder......
Unfortunately, she's very old and is also beginning to fail. *big sniff!
BlueGlancer...
Lellie, your cat looks very sweet, we had a gray tabby named named Miss Gray that lived to be 27 years old, but she was in very bad shape by then, and death was a blessing.
Josephine.
I don't know how I missed this, Lellie.
Thanks for the condolences, it has been 1 month today, that she left us. We still talk about her every day, and I'm getting a tad better dealing with it. I now talk about the fun and funny things in her life. Well heck,............I teared again.
It is better tho. Really
Mimmie did have a tail, a big fluffy one. : )
Your MIss Scooter Pie does look alot like my Mimmie. Mimmie had alittle more black in her face, down below her eyes.
She also was a loner, all her life. She didn't like other cats,...just tolerated them. Her mother feed her siblings on this ladies back porch, and Mimmie in a backyard shed. She would spit at my other 3 cats if they came anywhere near her.
She liked to be held tho,...by me or my daughter. You could walk around and tote her all day....if you had time. : )
I know it makes you sad that Miss Scooter is getting frail, and there is nothing I can say to make it better. Just give her some of your time, and love on her every day, for whatever time she has left. That's all she will need. : )

Oh, and Lellie... I'm usually found on the Florida gardening forum. http://davesgarden.com/forums/f/region_fl/all/
Come visit with us, when you get a chance. : )
Lellie - I, too, missed this thread. My sincere condolences! And my condolences to Lucy as well for the loss of your beautiful kitties. I still can't think about Lucky without getting upset. Time will help heal some of the pain, but not yet for me. :'-(
What a gorgeous tail!!!!!!!!!!
Ya know...it's so funny...ever since Scooter 'adopted' us, I look at other cats and just think they look SO ODD with a tail...LOLAM!
"Scooey" was a barn cat...the only female amid 5 males.
She fought for her food and fought them off as well.
She wasn't always a barn cat, tho.
Originally, she had been owned by a young man who, upon moving, left her behind!
My DH and I have never been able to figure out how someone could leave such a sweet kitty behind but you never know some one's else's circumstances, I reckon.
His loss...and she was 'Our Gain'! :)
I know in my heart that she has had the most wonderful life anyone could give her...and yes! She's spoiled rotten...LOL
She deserves it!...and that's the truth!
Thanks Becky, sorry if this thread opened up your wound. I started not to respond, and really should have just wrote Lellie a D-mail. I just didn't think. : (
Lellie, your Scooey is a beautiful cat. Let's let this drop off the 1st page, so as to not make Becky hurt at this time. We know how she feels.

You've got it, Lucy...sorry...
