Congratulations, Eunice! Nice Mama Plant and cute little baby coming up from that leaf. Great Growin!

Can you post a picture of the Mama Plant that you say has strange looking long tendril's coming up? I think it MUST be the bloom stalks!

Here's a pic of my Kazu with one little bloom stalk:

Bluebirds is where I got most of mine. Last year I got one from Rob's but it didn't survive ... too small I think. I have been most satisfied with BB's plants!

I have: Chirita's: Akio, Crossroads, Diane Marie, Hisako, Kazu, Stardust, and Vietnam. I got C. senesis 'Hisako and 'Crossroads' from trades here on DG. The others came from Bluebirds. They seemed to take forever to grow and bloom. I was using VF-11 and it didn't seem to do anything. Since I switched to my Optimara AV food, they seem to be growing more and just starting to bloom for me!

Thanks Starfly.

Yes Patti ... you should try Bluebird Greenhouse! They have always sent me good sized, healthy plants, some already in bloom. The only plant that didn't survive for me was the AV 'Evergrace'. It looked perfect when it arrived, but for some reason it didn't like my house or something! Everything else I've gotten from them has been fantastic!

and she sends a free one with your order.

I have all the Chirita's that BB sells, so I just went to Rob's and am trying them again! I ordered the following Chirita's: 'Betty', 'Kitaguni' and 'Little Dragon'. I will be curious if they send a free plant. To get the free one from Rob's you are supposed to find the picture of their dog Lucy and write down what she is saying. I have a heck of a time ever finding that dog! I searched and searched and never did find her, so I told them that on the order page! We'll see if I get a free plant! That's another reason I like BB's ... you don't have to do anything extra to get a freebie plant from them! If my order from Rob's isn't satisfactory this time I don't think I will ever order there again. Will keep y'all posted.
