Elephant Ears Zone 5 Sun Or Shade?
Your EE loves water but not swampy. If you have a moist spot, sun is good. If you are looking for it to take care of itself and/or your soil is dry, then morning sun or bright shade. It will get larger in the ground, makes a nice accent in a container. Pull it up (or dig it up) late in the fall, after the weather has turned chilly, but, not freezing. Leave the foilage on it, place it in a cool dry place, bulb part in a brown paper bag (no plastic, might cause rot) and let it rest for the winter. Basement is good if you have one.
Dale,
Perfect description!!
That's a nice illustris you have there too...
