hoya caudata

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

I have a nice full 6" basket of this hoya which gets full sun for the first 3-4 hours every morning but my leaves dont seem to bronze up like the ones I see in pictures of other peoples plants. What am I doing wrong and how can I get my leaves to get that bronze color to them??

It could be the clone, David...? I see some more silver than bronze.

Carol the leaves on my plant do look a lot more like the ones on the H. caudata plant pictured in your photo compendium. More green and silver and less bronze. It grows very well for me but I only bought it because I like that bronzy antique finish look to the leaves, guess next time I go in on a D.L. order i'll have to order a different clone of it.

Interesting!
Mine doesn't have that 'glow' when growing in an eastern exposure, but does in a southern exposure. Just a little 'factoid'! lol!
