who uses the MSU fertilizer. I have been using it now for a couple of months and have had great results. I use it for the first 3 waterings and then I go 2 waterings without fertilizer to flush the soil. I was wondering does anyone use it as a foliar spray??

I'm still using the beer fertilizer and getting great results from it. My kerria has about 6" of new growth and I understand they are slow to grow.

I have, dm, but I don't necessarily notice any difference. I used it outside on hoyas and other plants combined with Messenger.

I am still using the beer fertilizer, and eleanors vf-11. I just can't see the point in paying to ship in fertilizer, when I would rather pay to ship in hoyas.....Plus, I have absolutely NO complaints about the beer fert. Tons of growth, more flowers than ever, no deaths. Love it.

I wonder if it would harm my plants if I rotated the 2 different fertilizers? Water one month with the MSU and the next with the beer brew. I only stopped using teh brew becasue I was starting to notice some yellowing of leaves on a few of my hoyas and thought the brew might be the cause of it as I was using twice the required amount at each waterning!! never was one to follow directions!!(LOL)
I was totally amazed at the results that I was getting from the home brew. My hoyas have never grown as much as they did once I started using that stuff. I am still using it now but only to water my cactus plants with. I've noticed they have all fattened up a lot since i've been using it on them.
So since there arent any noticeable differences in using the MSU as a foliar I guess i'll just keep using it as a drench.
