I have two large container ponds that both have a number of water lilies in them. I also have a tadpole invasion. I need to know what to feed these hungry creatures. They are eating my water lily pads. No fish are available that will eat them. (I've already tried to go that route, but they are expensive and must be special ordered.) Scooping them out is a joke! There are way too many of them and this will go on for the next 6 months probably here in Florida.
It seems I have read somewhere that they like lettuce that has been frozen and is softer, not fresh lettuce. But I don't know. The way they are eating my lily pads, they don't seem to be really picky about how fresh or thick the vegetation is.
Help!!!!
Thanks!

What to feed tadpoles in my ponds.....
try slicing some zuchinni and floating it in with them. I do this so my koi don't eat my waterlilies.
