I potted a rooted cutting about 8 weeks ago into a 3 gallon container. It was a stick about 12" long with a nice start of roots at the time. The plant has been struggling since getting shredded by hail at easter and then fighting chewing critters. I finally have a few undamaged leaves now. I gave the brug to my mother since it is the largest so far at about 30" tall from the soil line. We planted it in the ground today and the roots had the pot completely filled! I was shocked. Now I realize they are going to have to go into larger pots a lot sooner than I expected. I have a feeling this brug is going to take off now that it is in the ground. Mom is excited. It is a white I think but don't know the name.

Wow, do Brugs make root systems FAST!
Good for you! Yes, once they get going, it seems like all we do is transplant and hunt for a larger pot! Glad you have such good growth.
No doubt! I cannot count how many times I've already had to pot up my brugs since April!! Now to just get some "Y's" and buds!!
