Memorial Day bargains at Lowe's

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

at least the one in Rosenberg, on Hwy 36. All their trees are 75% off. Roses, 50% off, and selected perennials also 50% off.

In addition, and according to the Rosenberg store Mgr, all Lowe's are offering an additional 10% disc. to military and military family, with proof.

I got some 1 gal loropetalum to fill some bare spots for $2.50. The bigger sizes looked even better. The rose I got was Disneyland, a little ratty, but I think I can bring it back to full health. the 2 gal pink Knockouts were outstanding and $9 after disc. The other varieties, a little weather beaten.

I same some very very nice crape myrtles like Candy Cane, at 75% off, wow what a deal if you want/need one.

Katy, TX(Zone 8b)

what's need got to do w/flowers? Wanting is 'enuff

Cypress, TX(Zone 9a)

When did the sale start? I was at Lowe's in Tomball yesterday, didn't see any of the things on sale you mentioned. :(

That's funny though, I saw Disneyland too and thought I have to have it. I didn't get it as I actually needed a sprayer and other things....went home and told DH about it though, hoping he'd say ' ust go ahead and get it'. Still waiting. lol

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

sorry. It started today, I guess thru monday but I imagine it will be slim pickings by then.

Cypress, TX(Zone 9a)

Oooo...ok, I am stopping on the way home from work then. Only an hour and 45 minutes to go! :) Of course, my excuse will be....but it was on sale....hehe

Tyler, TX

I got all excited and ran up to Lowe's. No big sale here. They always have some good bargains on their 1/2 off though.

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

We have property in east TX and I've noticed that the HD in Waco, Lowes in Palestine and the like do not have the bargains found in Houston and Dallas. I imagine it's more expensive for those storesto get merchandise, so they need to be more conservative w/ their pricing.

Didn't mean to get you all riled up for nothing, hopefully the bargain bin provided enough of a fix, lol. I love Tyler, but will not go back 'cause I'll go broke shopping at Chamblees.

Crosbyton, TX(Zone 7a)

tsk..tsk ...tsk..tsk tsk.....

San Antonio, TX(Zone 8b)

lol...I've been going to Lowe's to peruse their 25 cent racks. Talk about some sad, pitiful plants.....but if you have the thumb to do it, you can usually get them back to their old selves.... :)

Magnolia, TX(Zone 8b)

I'm in Indy & am going to ck the Lowe's up here. There is one very close to where I am staying in the Castleton area.
Who knows I may find something to bring back? lol

Cypress, TX(Zone 9a)

Checked the Lowe's in Tomball AND Cypress. No sale. :( I guess Voss is just the lucky one to get the 'good' Lowe's!
