for anyone interested in the Houston area... I went to the Arbor Gate during lunch to check it out for the first time... Oh my goodness!! Beautiful place first of all. I just got two desert rose babies! One for 3.99 and the other for 4.99 (with a buds on it). I was so excited. I found some at HD or Lowes that were 14.99 and not looking so good. Hadn't gotten them yet and I am glad I didn't. These look so good. If you like adeniums and feel like taking a trip to Tomball over the weekend I strongly suggest it! :D

Now that I think of it, I don't know that I've ever looked at AG's succulents...Where on the property do they have these? Are they in a separate section?
I found a whole row of succulent plants in back of the first tent/greenhouse that has the shade plants and vines. They had the desert roses, various types of sedum, chicks and hens, and some other stuff. Those were the main ones that caught my eye.

Do Arbor Gate do mail order? I have been looking for some so long. I want to send one to my girlfriend in Georgia. Do they Have the ones grown from seed? They are the ones with the boulbus roots. I like them because they look really strange and funny .They are more expensive too I think.

I don't think they do mail order. I've never packed a plant for shipping before, but if you tell me how I'd be happy to try and get one to you.
I do think these are from seed. I got one last fall from HD and I'm pretty certain that one is a cutting. It has not bulged out not on bit. The caudex has possibly thickened but not plumped out AT ALL. That was when I didn't know a thing about adeniums and my interest was peaked solely because of the uniqueness of the plant and the beatiful flowers of course. I was very excited when I saw these because the small one already has a swelled caudex. I really should have gotten more! I just didn't know what I would do with more than three...
