Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

Today I recieved a couple of cuttings from a good DG member, I guess she didn't want this guy to miss his plants so she sent him along.
Do you want him back *LOL*

Looks as if he's been at the big leaf already. You're lucky he even left you a plant, they can eat like pigs!

He sure was fat, and healthy, but not any more.

I haven't seen one of those in years. He really did enjoy his last ride. Hope the plant recovers well. I had a slug on a canna I received yesterday. He too was very happy.

I thought he was just a funny looking leaf! LOL! Unbelievable.

Awwww, he would have turned into a beautiful hummingbird moth, which would have THEN pollinated your Brug., which would have THEN given you seed pods, which would have THEN given you more brugs.!!! I would have saved him.

OUCH Kay, that hurts *S* I didn't have a clue what he was, had never seen one befor, next time:) I will know

Lizella, GA(Zone 8a)

oooo, but they will also completely demolish all your tomato plants...and I dearly love tomatoes.. I take them out in the woods, and tell them not to come back or else...I love the butterflies and moths too.
Kay, Hugs for you..

Maby a beautiful moth in time, but as a cat, it eats so much new growth, it can take several months to get a bloom after damage like that. By then, the moth would have died of old age.. LOL (just kidding around.. no offense intended)

Alexandria, VA(Zone 7a)

I had one come on one of my brugs last year to from a DG in Florida too! LOL! .
It took me a week to notice the fella!
I just put him out side. I figured he would turn into something nice. We dont get those type colored ones up here . Now I am going to look up and see what the hummingbird month looks like.
:)

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

I kill'em. Moth, butterfly, whatever. They can eat someone else's plants. And if I see butterflies, I squirt them with the water hose... doesn't hurt them, but it shoos them away.

Bluffton, SC(Zone 9a)

ur so mean lol
